After pulling in over $1Billion for Warner Brothers with the Dark Knight, it was pretty nice of them to give $200Million of it back to Christopher Nolan for a little movie he called Inception. Especially since it’s probably Nolan’s finest work, and on its way to possibly being the biggest movie of the summer. The only question is: what happened at the end?

Rodriguez might have cut the usual Troublemaker Studios corners on Predators, but he and Nimrod did right by the franchise for the first time since Danny Glover and Arnie. But how did Adrien Brody stack up to his predecessors from the 80’s and 90’s?

As a film and as an adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s bestselling tween romance novels, Eclipse’s director, David Slade, most certainly out-did either of his predecessors. While the love story remains intact to satisfy Nat’s need for any angsty werewolf/vampire/human love triangle, Matt appreciated the clear effort taken to attract a male audience by adding a dark and more violent visual style, that was clearly riffing on actual horror elements for the first time in the series.

The definitive action foursome from the 80’s are back and bigger than ever! Carnahan knocked this baby out of the park, not only do we get the mysterious origin of the A-Team finally told, but we ALSO get two more hours of rock ‘em sock ‘em wicked action and hilarious hi-jinks of a reimagined yet somehow faithful re-casting of the iconic characters. The only thing left to hope for is a sequel!

When the film adaptation of the greatest action-comedy show of the 80’s is directed by a wild talent like Carnahan, you KNOW the A-Team will have some of the most off-the-hook action possible. But the A-Team was more than just guns and bombs, it was a group of four men who looked out for each other like brothers, and if we’re going to see Hannibal, Face, Murdock and B.A. come to life all over again on the big screen, Carnahan has his work cut out for him making that classic 4-way bromance sing.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands blew us away from a gameplay standpoint, and delivered solidly on Graphics and Story! Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe make a great team. Just look at Gladiator. Really. We mean it, skip Robin Hood and just go watch Gladiator. This movie is so BARELY a story of Robin Hood, it hardly deserves the name, and winds up being little more than a re-tread of Scott’s previous epic work. Everyone phoned it in on this one, folks; don’t waste your time.

We were blown away by the first Ironman, and with the same creative team behind the sequel, we had high hopes going into part 2. The drama, action and comedy were all firing on all cylinders and it didn’t take long for us to realize we were in an Ironman film! Long live the Ironmen!
