When the film adaptation of the greatest action-comedy show of the 80’s is directed by a wild talent like Carnahan, you KNOW the A-Team will have some of the most off-the-hook action possible. But the A-Team was more than just guns and bombs, it was a group of four men who looked out for each other like brothers, and if we’re going to see Hannibal, Face, Murdock and B.A. come to life all over again on the big screen, Carnahan has his work cut out for him making that classic 4-way bromance sing.

PRINCE OF PERSIA PREVIEW: Looks Fun… But as Fun as the Game?

After 14 video games and over two decades, the Prince of Persia is getting his own movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina. And with Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer on board, the bar is set pretty high for action, comedy, romance and adventure. KICK-ASS REVIEW: Brutal, Bloody, Brilliant

We couldn’t have been more blown away by Kick-Ass. A top-notch story, great performances (especially Chloe Moretz as Hit-Girl), incredible humour and a surprisingly meaty film-going experience were disguised as a goofy superhero comedy by Lionsgate’s one-dimensional advertizing campaign. If you haven’t seen Kick-Ass, and you can take some gruesome violence and potty-mouthed humour, you owe yourself a night out at the movies to let Matthew Vaughn and Mark Millar Kick your Ass!

ZOMBIELAND REVIEW: Moist. VERY Moist.

Columbus wasn’t kidding when he said Zombieland is moist, but we enjoyed the hell out of Ruben Fleischer’s debut ride! Between Jesse Eisenberg’s coy hero and Woody Harrelson’s crass maverick, we got our fill of every kind of Zombie kill you can imagine. And that’s not even considering the monster awesome cameo in the middle. But what did YOU think of your adventure through Zombieland?

ZOMBIELAND PREVIEW: Horror/Comedy/Buddy/Road-Movie

Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg look like they make an incredible comedic duo in Ruben Fleischer’s directorial debut, Zombieland, but there’s a delicate balance to ride between that comedy and the horror elements that makes Zombie movies really knock it out of the park. We’re both easily as excited about this one as we were about any summer movies that came our way, whether that’s because Matt loves him some Sam Raimi-style horror/comedy or because Nat has an abnormally active imagination when it comes to surviving a Zombie pandemic, you can bet we’ll be inline for the midnight screening!

We managed to check out Drag Me To Hell back at SXSW in March, and we LOVED it. Watching Sam Raimi return to the genre that he started in was magnificent, with all the jumps and laughs and wit that you’d expect from a classic Raimi horror film. STAR TREK TRAILER REVIEW: You Asked For It!

By popular demand, we went ahead and reviewed JJ’s new Star Trek Trailer… we’re not planning to make a habit of reviewing trailers, but it just so happens that the most revered graphic novel in history AND the most revered sci-fi franchise in history are BOTH coming to the silver screen in ways we never thought possible, and we simply must bow to powers far greater than our own. Having said that, I’m sure what Matt says as a two-decade-strong-yet-highly-critical-Trekkie will sit just as well with some as it won’t with others… while Nat just tries to look forward to a Karl Urban/Zachary Quinto film!
