DISTRICT 9 REVIEW: The Best of The Summer

Peter Jackson and Neill Blomkamp have brought us what might be the most significant modern Sci-Fi movie, but have definitely made one of the best movies of 2009. With great characters, an amazing alternate reality, plus social commentary and action to spare, District 9 is a must-see film for geeks and movie-lovers alike!

    Hi Guyz,
Well watched this movie and have to say loved the “Alternative Reality / POV ” aspect of the movie.
the movies plot left me thinking , is it just a Fictional movie or is it really happening and the Aliens are the metaphors for the helpless refugees stuck there in S.A. well any ways i have no klnowledge of that , so i leave that aside.

    Any ways ,
about that Alien/Prawn liquid thing?, well i think the director left that for us to find out, he already gave clues about it in the very first lines of the trailer , that “we have there weapons but cannot use them cuz they are Bio-Weapons and need their D.N.A to work it’, well the black liquid was a fuel for the Ship, which we later find out to be a “Bio-Powered Ship” (proved when Vikkus had to put his hand in some gue to start it ” , so the fuel had to contain the Alien’s/Prawn’s D.N.A , so when Vikkus swallowed the liquid he ingensted the Alien D.N.A and like most “Alien/Zombie flicks when they touch , youre one of’em” (haha).

Loved it at the end no matter what, one of my top of the list typos.

    see ya !
