PRINCE OF PERSIA PREVIEW: Looks Fun… But as Fun as the Game?

I saw the midnight showing for this one and I hate to say it but it SUCKED and was no where as enjoyable as the game. Bad CGI, poor accents, nonsensical plot and a lot of annoying slow-mo shots in front of green screen almost every 5 secs! One of the year’s worst so far.
I found this movie quiet boring… Thought it went on and on. The assassins were fun, they brought some much-needed life and color to the film. But there were many characters who you knew what role they would play the instant they cropped up – though some of the actors were nice to see regardless. Parts were very derivative; but I actually did kind of like the whole Sands of Time backstory and related elements of the plot, and they manage to keep the villain’s real goal a decent secret up til close to the end of the movie. It wasn’t bad, necessarily, but it felt very long.
