SCOTT PILGRIM PREVIEW: Comicbook to Film Done Perfectly?
Edgar Wright is the kind of director that has gotten a fan following all his own, but when his film gets the concept from a graphic novel as popular as Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim series, you just know something special is going to happen! Watch him and his cast take you into the world of Scot Pilgrim, along with some exclusive snippets of the movie, and some wild remixes of scenes!

Hey Matt and Nat, maybe you could help me with this one. What is that Michael Cera movie where he plays that awkward student, who through his band, awkwardness, or determination, gets the girl in the end? You know! Where he has witty friends, weird situations are cause by: drugs, alcohol, or strange people they met on their way to 1) to a concert, 2) on a journey of “getting” with a girl, 3) becoming a responsible adult. It feels like I have watched that movie about 7 times, but the plot and actors are always a little different! However, I know that Michael Cera is in it as the main character…grrr if only he did more movies like that!
You guys know movies better than me, so that is why I ask.

+1000 xp to Wright for making what will be a truly great adaptation. Scott Pilgrim is one of the only stories I’ve seen that translates well to a wide audience. If your a rocker, a “hipster”, gamer, or NERD doesn’t matter. Scott Pilgrim is one of the best comedies, romances, action books I’ve ever read. Cannot wait for the film’s release. And of course Matt & Nat’s review then after. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve gotta hit the sub-space highway. PEACE.

Awesome review as always guys. I can’t wait for this to come out, because, to put it as one of the trailers put it, it’ll be “on like Donkey Kong.”

It was a joke…I was saying that all of Michael Cera’s movies are pretty much the same…however, for some reason I am excited about this movie.
