I´m like this remake much more than the The wolfman, from 1941.The make up was just a re-concept from the original make-up by Jack Pierce.Rick Baker done a wonderfull job...and the cgi was used in a perfect way: a suport to develop the creature action.The cast was perfect. The Danny Elfman score was an well done job. Hope to see a sequel soon. It seems to me that Joe Johnston managed to remake a classic into another future classic. i loved the atmosphere and the suspense, the cast was perfect and Benicio scared me and made me pitty him at the same time. I saw the film, and aside from a few bumps in the second act (stereotypical German doctor, really?), it was the best horror film in a very long time.
